| Register Now for Summer Day Camp |
Registration is now open for Union City Leisure Services Summer Day Camps, which offer children ages 3-16 an opportunity to enjoy a traditional summer day camp experience which includes a variety of fun activities, arts-n-crafts, games, sports, drama, hiking and nature activities. Each week offers a different theme, recreational swimming and a special field trip. |

| Draft Short Range Transit Plan Available for Review |
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission requires transit operators receiving federal funding through the Transportation Improvement Program to prepare, adopt, and submit a Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP). The plan addresses route changes citywide and fare adjustments. Fare adjustments include fare increases and changes to fare categories. The complete Union City Transit Short Range Transit Plan (Draft) is now available for review. | UCPD Hosts Pet Adopt-a-Thon |
The Union City Police Department’s Animal Services Unit is hosting an Adopt-a-thon on June 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Civic Center. The event includes: Free Animal Adoptions (provided by Fremont’s Tri-City Animal Shelter, in conjunction with Maddie’s Fund), dog and cat vaccinations, animal licensing, informational booth regarding animal services in the City of Union City, UCPD K-9 demonstration, free nail clipping, ear cleaning by the Pack Leader Mobile Grooming service.! |
