 El Mercado Shopping Center
The El Mercado Shopping is located at the corner of Alvarado-Niles Road and Decoto Road and features many Asian-themed businesses including a large Marina Food supermarket, numerous eating establishments, nail and beauty salons and other businesses. Wells Fargo Bank and Cathay Bank also have branches at the shopping center.
Within easy walking distance of El Mercado is the Union City BART and the site of the exciting Intermodal Station District, which is currently being developed.
