Additional Services

Tri-City Taxi Voucher Program

The Tri-City Taxi Voucher Program provides subsidized taxi rides to help seniors and people with disabilities with same-day transportation needs within the Tri Cities. Unlike existing paratransit programs that require riders to make advanced reservations for their trips, this program provides same-day service. The program is administered by the City of Fremont and is funded by Alameda County’s Measure B/BB transportation sales tax. Please click Taxi Voucher Program and Order Form for program information, application form and voucher order form; or call the City of Fremont at (510) 574-2053.

VIP Rides Program

This program provides escort assistance to Paratransit riders by fully screened and trained volunteers. Seniors and non-seniors with disabilities, who have no family members or friends to help them, can use this program for travel to medical appointments and/or necessary errands. Volunteers may also use their own vehicle to drive ambulatory seniors or disabled individuals who require door-through-door service. For more information please contact Life Eldercare.
