Apparatus
The Union City Fire Department uses different types of apparatus. Our inventory includes:
- 1 Quint
- 3 Engines
- 2 Type III Wildland Engines
A quint is combination engine/truck with a hose, water and pump and a 75' aerial ladder. It provides versatility for different types of emergencies. UCFD deploys 3 engines at Fire Stations 2, 3 and 4. Engines carry water hose and have a pump. Type III apparatus are used for the urban-interface.
