Kennedy Park

1333 Decoto Road
Union City, California 94587

Kennedy Community Park is Union City’s largest community park. This park was named after Charles Kennedy, Union City’s first recreation director.

The park includes a beautiful, concrete memorial to Union City veterans of World War II, two play structures (one suitable for toddlers), a basketball court, an amphitheater, community center, teen center and four reservable picnic areas. The landscape is dotted with maple trees that surround the large grass area.

This park, which is conveniently located next to BART and Decoto Road has hosted many Union City events since its existence and is easily Union City’s most popular park.
