ACTIA Funded Projects
The City of Union City and The Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACTIA) are working together on a variety of improvement projects and programs.
ACTIA was established when voters in Alameda County approved Measure B which authorizes the collection of a half-cent sales tax.
ACTIA collects and administers the funds and provides the City of Union City with funding to help maintain our local streets and roads and implement bike and pedestrian improvements through their Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Program. All Measure B funds come with specific program and financial compliance requirements.
