The Design and Project Management Section provides the design work for City Public Works projects and coordinates and monitors design work performed by outside design consultants. It also completes testing and analysis as needed for public improvements when required. It ensures that all approved projects are coordinated with neighboring communities and appropriate county and state agencies. Processes development plans and prepares reports for the Planning Commission and City Council. Reviews the planning and building referrals per the Subdivision and Street Improvement Ordinances of the City.
