City Council & Planning Commission Agenda Packets

Packets published here reflect items as submitted at the time of publication. Occasionally, desk items are provided to City Council at the meeting. These items are not included in the packets but are made available in the City's online records repository. A public copy of each desk item is also available at the City Clerk's desk at the evening of the meeting. Additionally, a copy of any item included in the City Council packet can be requested through a Public Records Act Request.


COVID-19 Notice: As of April 14, 2022. the City Council Chambers are now open to the public.  However, the City Council and Planning Commission will hold meetings both in person and virtually (hybrid).  Members of the public can observe and address the legislative body either in person or by using the below technological processes. 


How to Address the Legislative Body:


Written Comment (accepted until the start of the meeting, unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda):  To provide written comment on an item on the agenda or to address the Council about an issue during Public Comment, you may send an email to prior to the start of the meeting. Please include the phrase “public comment” in the subject line and note the agenda item number that you want to address. Written comments will be e-mailed to the City Council and made publicly available. 

Public Comment via Teleconference:  Members of the public may address the Legislative Body on a matter on the agenda during the Public Input portion of the meeting.  Raise your virtual hand to notify the host that you would like to speak during that portion.

 Instructions on Raising your Hand in Zoom Webinar:

  1. Click Raise Hand in the webinar controls. The host will be notified that you've raised your hand.
  2. If the host allows you to talk, you may be prompted to unmute yourself. While unmuted, your profile picture and name is displayed to the host and panelists. Only your name is displayed to other attendees.
  3. Click Raise Hand in the webinar controls to lower it, if needed. This will not mute yourself if you are unmuted.


Zoom Shortcuts:

  • Windows: You can also use the Alt+Y keyboard shortcut to raise or lower your hand.
  • Mac: You can also use the Option+Y keyboard shortcut to raise or lower your hand.
