Did you know used motor oil never wears out? Used motor oil can be recycled, cleaned, and used again! Recycling used motor oil conserves a natural resource (oil) and is good for the environment too. It is illegal to pour motor oil in the ground and into storm drains and to place motor oil in any recycle, compost, or landfill bin/cart (even if it is in a sealed container) as this can contaminate and pollute the soil, groundwater, streams, and rivers.

Tri-CED Community Recycling provides free containers for residents to recycle their used motor oil and oil filters.
