Residential Parking Permits & Restrictions

Some City residential areas located near schools or transportation centers have experienced parking congestion, so parking restrictions have been established in neighborhoods where residents have petitioned the City Council for regulated neighborhood parking for local residents.

Four-hour parking restrictions will be enforced Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM on the following streets in the Decoto neighborhood.

Residents living in restricted parking areas may purchase Residential Parking Permits that exempt their vehicles from the parking restrictions. Residential Parking Permits that are valid for a full year can be purchased at the City Hall cashier station during business hours at a cost of $50 per household for up to five (5) parking permits. Residents must show proof that they reside in a neighborhood where parking has been restricted (a recent utility bill will work) and that all vehicles receiving Residential Parking Permits are also registered there (for example, a copy of each vehicle’s registration will work).
