Police Records

If you are a victim of a crime or involved in a traffic accident, you may be entitled to a cost-free copy of the police report. To assist staff in your request for information, please complete a report request form and submit it to the Union City Police Department with all relevant information regarding the incident. You may email the request or it may be mailed/delivered to the City of Union City Police Department, Records Division, at 34009 Alvarado-Niles Rd, Union City, California, 94587.

For your convenience the Police Department also provides access to Traffic Collision Reports online for an additional fee. Visit PoliceReports.us if you would like to purchase a copy of a Traffic Collision Report online.

Depending upon the nature of the investigation, State or Federal Law exempts the disclosure of certain records retained by the Union City Police Department.

The Records Division is open Sunday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm.
