2022 Summer Day Camps
During the months of June – August, Union City Summer Day Camp programs will be offered for Union City residents and non-residents. Summer Day Camp hours are from 8 am – 5 pm. There is no extended care options.
Camps will be a variety of fun, safe and supervised activities including games, arts-n-crafts, science, sports, nature, drama, and music! Each week will be highlighted by a field trip or presentation, in addition to swimming at the Dan Oden Swim Complex (James Logan High School Pool).
To ensure the safety of staff and participants, we will continue to practice physical distancing and safety precautions. We will continue to monitor all requirements from Alameda County Public Health, the CDC and the Department of Health & Human Services.
There is a limited space available each week of camp and priority is being given to Union City residents starting March 2, 2022. Non-residents may start registering on Thursday, March 3, 2022
There is a $25 per child, per weekly administrative fee for any Day Camp transfers or cancellations. All changes must be made at least 1 week (5 working days) prior to the start of each camp’s week or all fess will be forfeited.
2022 Half-Day Summer Sports Camps
This Summer Union City Community & Recreation Services will be teaming up with a few Local Sports Organization to run weekly Sports Specific Half-Day Camps from 9 am - 12 noon! Skyhawks Sports, Beast Mode Basketball Academy, Club VIP Volleyball, and World Cup Soccer Camps are just some of the Sports Specific Camps offered this Summer.
