Property & Evidence Unit

The Property and Evidence Unit is comprised of a supervisor and two specialists. They are responsible for ensuring that all property and evidence is packaged and stored in a safe and appropriate manner to preserve the items based on their individual characteristics. 

The Property and Evidence Unit acts as the conduit between the District Attorney’s office and the police department to ensure that we provide evidence for criminal proceedings and detail the chain of custody of the evidence.
