On Thursday, May 25th, at approximately Ending 060423 Ayubzai10:10 p.m., Officer Ayubzai conducted a traffic stop at Union Landing. He determined the driver was on searchable probation and later found him in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released.



On Tuesday, May 30th, Sergeant Jensen conducted a traffic stop in the 30000 block of Ahern Street. While speaking with the driver, he saw paraphernalia and suspected narcotics in plain view. During a search of the vehicle, Sergeant Jensen located more narcotics and a variety of pills. He placed the driver under arrest for transportation with intent to sell controlled substances and possession of paraphernalia.


ATTEMPTED MURDER/HOME INVASION

On Friday, June 2nd, at approximately midnight, officers responded to a home invasion robbery and attempted murder on Palm Drive. The victim called police after an unknown male broke into his residence and tried to shoot him. The victim fought off the attacker, who fled the house and was not found by police.


ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON 

On Wednesday, May 31st, at approximately 8:49 p.m., officers responded to an assault in the 30000 block of Industrial Parkway. The victim was riding his bicycle in the parking lot when he was intentionally struck by a vehicle, causing him to fall to the ground. A group of males exited the car and assaulted the victim. During the assault, one of the suspects stabbed the victim. The vehicle fled the area, and the victim ran to safety and called police.


BURGLARY 

On Monday, May 29th, at approximately noon, officers responded to an in-progress residential burglary in the 34800 block of Mission Boulevard. The juvenile caller saw the suspect trying to enter the apartment through a window. When the 16-year-old suspect saw the victim inside, he ran towards the parking lot, where he was later found and arrested by officers.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES

From Monday, May 22nd, to Sunday, June 4th, there were two residential burglaries reported.

COMMERCIAL BURGLERIES

From Monday, May 22nd, to Sunday, June 4th, there were four commercial burglaries reported.

AUTO BURGLARIES AND VEHICLE THEFTS

From Monday, May 22nd, to Sunday, June 4th, there were thirteen reported auto burglaries. Two of the burglaries occurred at the Union Landing shopping center, and the rest were in residential areas.

From Monday, May 22nd, to Sunday, June 4th, there were eighteen reported vehicle thefts. As of the time of this report, nine of the vehicles have been recovered.
